On July 19, energy was soaring in anticipation for GSP Family Feud. A few days prior, scholars filled out a survey with questions to be used for GSP Family Feud, some of the questions being, “Who is the scariest administrator?” and “What is one thing you forgot to bring to GSP?”. Earlier in the week, scholars also formed teams and signed up for the draw during lunch.

When the day of the actual games came, scholars rushed to Johnson Theater, where some of them decided to match outfits with the rest of their team. Scholars were greeted by announcer, Calder Beasley, and GSP Family Feud’s two hosts, Karly Jones and Dalton York.

A total of 10 teams were chosen at random to make their way to the stage and play GSP Family Feud. Each team was required to have a team name, which ranged from names like Grassy Goobers to Barbies and Ken.

Each round brought both funny and clever moments from scholars, and the theater was filled with expressive reactions from the audience for each answer. Even if scholars were not on stage, they were heavily involved and invested in each round, thus creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.

Whether or not a scholar’s team was chosen, everyone seemed to leave Johnson Theater full of life and energy. This GSP event will surely be marked as a scholar favorite, as many seemed to highly enjoy the festivities.
