The Legacy GSP has Left Behind for Governor Andy Beshear
On Friday, July 21, GSP Murray State campus welcomed Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear to campus. Beshear spoke to scholars as the first Governor's Scholars Program alumni to be elected Kentucky Governor.

Over the course of five weeks, scholars have had the privilege of hearing from four highly engaging and inspirational speakers, ranging from Centre Professor, John Kinkade, to the Governor of the Commonwealth, Andy Beshear. Anticipation for the last convocation was high, which means so were the expectations for the last speaker, Trey Grayson.

Faculty Hall was the hot spot for lovers of the Classic Film Series as they enjoyed the highly rated A24 film, Everything Everywhere All At Once.

This GSP Life: Scholar Edition
On July 20, scholars hurriedly rushed to Johnson Theater for the latest (and last) installment of This GSP Life. Previously, scholars were able to hear stories from faculty, staff and RA's. However, for the last installment, scholars were treated to stories from 15 of their peers. Ranging from lighthearted, funny stories to ones of grief and trauma, this installment of This GSP Life was truly a wild and enjoyable ride.
Family Feud Fun!
A total of 10 teams were chosen at random to make their way to the stage and play GSP Family Feud. Each team was required to have a team name, which ranged from names like Grassy Goobers to Barbies and Ken.

No One Will Forget Jo March: Little Women
The 2019 adaptation of Little Women follows suite of becoming a timeless classic. The story follows the March family (Jo, Beth, Amy, Meg and Marmee march) and Laurie family through their struggles and heartbreaks of growing up. It's a beautiful story of how you can get anything done as long as you put your will to it.
Scholars Slay Once Again at Showcase Week Three
Scholars filled the seats in Johnson theatre once again on July 14 in anticipation of the third showcase. Just like the previous showcases, each act was met with roaring applause, cheers and laughter.
Finding Brotherhood in Carpe Diem and Barbaric Yawps: Dead Poets Society
Dead Poets Society follows an English teacher, John Keating, and his class as they discover themselves through this coming of age. Through tradition from the all-boys preparatory, the boys face enormous stresses that they overcome by 'seizing the day'.
