GSP Ends, College Applications Begin: ‘GSPocalypse’ Survival Secrets!
As GSP comes to a close, several college applications begin to open. Applying to college can be a daunting task. While some scholars may have a plan for where they want to go and what they want to pursue, many still aren't sure. Regardless, the college panel held in Johnson Theater allowed scholars to ask RAs and staff all of their questions.

On Friday, July 21, GSP Murray State campus welcomed Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear to campus. Beshear spoke to scholars as the first Governor's Scholars Program alumni to be elected Kentucky Governor.

Scholars Slay at the Final Showcase
Scholars filled the seats for the final time on July 22, to watch the final showcase. All forty acts were met with roaring applause, cheers and laughter. This week’s performances included beautiful renditions of popular songs, emotional stories written by scholars and elaborate dances.

This GSP Life: Scholar Edition
On July 20, scholars hurriedly rushed to Johnson Theater for the latest (and last) installment of This GSP Life. Previously, scholars were able to hear stories from faculty, staff and RA's. However, for the last installment, scholars were treated to stories from 15 of their peers. Ranging from lighthearted, funny stories to ones of grief and trauma, this installment of This GSP Life was truly a wild and enjoyable ride.

On July 6, scholars piled into Johnson Theatre for the second installment of GSP Life, where RAs shared personal experiences and lessons.
Family Feud Fun!
A total of 10 teams were chosen at random to make their way to the stage and play GSP Family Feud. Each team was required to have a team name, which ranged from names like Grassy Goobers to Barbies and Ken.
